Working as cabin crew for a major airline is an exciting and challenging experience. In addition to jetting off to exotic destinations, the job also requires a high degree of responsibility and specialization to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers in line with industry regulations.

This course is top choice for young professionals looking to get a head start in the profession, introducing the skills and responsibilities expected by the world’s leading airlines. Special emphasis is given to customer service and procedures for handling unusual situations during flight.

This course also includes a safety equipment procedure (SEP) trainer providing an overview of the aircraft, safety equipment and location of emergency procedures.

The objectives of this course is to help participants gain the skills to:

  • Understand the Cabin Crew profession and get acquainted with current best practices.
  • Identify cabin crew functions and aircraft types
  • Manage passenger interactions in several circumstances
  • Recall safety and emergency procedures

Before a person is considered for training with Upperdeck Air as a Cabin Crew member, and for training for a third-party airline, it is the policy that he/she:

  • Is at least 18 years old;
  • Possess a minimum of WASC/NECO O’ Level, with at least five (5) credits, which must include Physics, Mathematics and English.
  • Has completed a medical and is in possession of a Class 2 Medical Certificate
  • Meets the requirements of the third party airline in accordance with their policy.
  • Remains medically fit to discharge his duties.

Available through 4 weeks (160 hours) classroom delivery by experienced and qualified instructors, with a wide variety of relevant books and support materials to embed and sustain learning are also available.

Student performance will be based on an examination.
