Capt. EMMANUEL OGUNBAMBI – CEO

The CEO, Emmanuel Ogunbambi, is a Commercial Pilot with cognizant Corporate flying experience with an M.Sc. degree in Transport Studies. He has over 30years of experience in the Aviation Industry initially as Licensing Examiner, Inspector, Instructor, and appointed as a member of various ICAO, & State Aviation Committees e.g BAGASSO in the development of guidance for a legal framework, protocols, and procedures.

He recently retired as Director of Crew Licensing Directorate of Nigerian CAA

ABISOLA OGUNBAMBI (Nee Sanni) – Accountable Manager/Managing Director

Abisola Ogunbambi nee Sanni is a Graduate of Political Science. She started her aviation career as a Cabin Crew over 15 years ago and also became a Grounds Operations expert and Cabin Crew Instructor. Areas of subject matter include Aviation Safety Instructions and Crew Resource Management

CAPTAIN JOSEPH W. OGUNBAMBI – Executive Director

Captain Joseph W. Ogunbambi is an experienced airline pilot and the Executive Director at Upperdeck Air Support Services Limited, where he also heads the Flight Operations Department. He brings extensive expertise in aviation operations, safety, and airline management.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Information Technology, combining technical knowledge with strong operational leadership in the aviation industry.

OLUWATOSIN O. SALAMI   –   Management Representative

Oluwatosin Salami is a trained administrative Professional with experience supporting executive leadership in overseeing operational functions. Her expertise spans virtual executive support, Administrative management, project coordination, and Data management.

AMINA MAIZA – Head of Training

AMINA MAIZA is the Head of Training at Upperdeck Air Support Services Limited, bringing over four decades of experience in the aviation industry. She began her career as a seasoned cabin crew professional and she is now an authorized and licensed Cabin Crew Instructor at Upperdeck Air. With extensive expertise in both cabin operations and training, she plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining high industry standards.

LAWRENCE FAPONLE – Chief Instructor

Lawrence Faponle is the Chief Instructor at Upperdeck Air Support Services Limited. He began his aviation career as a cabin crew member with Nigeria Airways and has flown with several local and international airlines. With over three and a half decades of experience in the aviation industry, he brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his role.

In 2021, he became an authorized and licensed Cabin Crew Instructor at Upperdeck, where he continues to train and mentor aspiring aviation professionals.

TAOFEEK OYEKOLA – Administrative Manager
Office/IT & Social Platforms

Taofeek Oyekola is a seasoned administrative and operations professional overseeing office management at Upperdeck Air Support Services Limited. He drives efficient coordination and ensures the seamless execution of organizational processes.

With a background in accounting, customer service, and organizational management, he has contributed significantly to operational excellence. He also brings extensive experience from the banking sector and has delivered several finance-focused instructions and presentations.

EJIOGU FAVOUR – Asst. Quality Manager
Admin./Flight Operations

Ejiogu Favour is an Admin and Assistant Quality Manager at Upperdeck Air.  She coordinates training schedules, manages student records, and attends to student enquiries. She supports quality assurance by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and proper documentation. She is organized, detail-oriented, committed to maintaining high training standards, and holds professional license as a flight dispatcher and cabin crew

THERESA ADIE – Liaison Officer

Theresa Adie is a dedicated Liaison Officer at Upperdeck Air, known for her strong coordination and communication skills. She effectively bridges the gap between management, students, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations. With a background in Business Administration, she brings organization, professionalism, and attention to detail to her role. She is committed to excellence, fostering positive relationships, and supporting the success of the institution
